Digital Guitar

Dec 17, 2009

This great Linux-powered MIDI controller guitar does not have any string. The guitar has 24 frets and features a multi-functions touch display.

There is a fantastic number of ways to morphe the timbre of sound in electronic music. If you play an electronic guitar than your right hand needs more control, simple plucking strings is not enough, because when playing an electronic guitar you need control over such elements of the sound as sustain, pitch, filter cutoffs and many others.

The greatest difficulty is that this must be done without any physical constraints, the guitar has no strings. You don’t pluck strings with your right hand, you use it just to control sound.
