The Tears and Laughs of 2006

Dec 26, 2006
Before this year ends some very important facts should be outlined. This is why I present you some of the most hilarious incidents of 2006.

The incident that I would like to tell first concerns two Japanese firemen who celebrated the end of their fire protection program. As a result the two burned down their own fire station.

Three German policemen received a chastisement after their decision to wear kilts. At a policeman's ball the three did not respect the Scottish traditional clothes and shocked the public by demonstrating the absence of their underwear.

The Swedish hockey referee also received chastisement because he couldn't end up the match. The reason for this was the amount of alcohol in his blood, shortly – he was drunk. Very often, during the match, the referee fell down, lost his whistle and made controversial warnings that do not even exist in hockey. He was sent off the field.

Continuing the same story with alcohol – two Mexicans, father and son, poisoned themselves with carbon monoxide while cleaning the well. The same happed to their neighbor, two soldiers and a policeman that was to organize a rescue mission. All of the above happened because of a small diesel generator meant for illuminating the room. The exhaust from the generator filled up the well and caused the death of all participants in this story.

Another interesting story happened to a German, who was originally from Russia. Because of family violence the individual was caught by police. While being pressed to the car the man was so angry that he bit the car's hood. The officers stated that the man was not only angry – he was probably very hungry.

In Japan another man was arrested because he called the information bureau for 37,760 times just to hear the "nice" voices of the ladies-operators. The 44 year old man admitted that every day he called 905 times the information service Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp and kept silence. The suspect's silence was the cause of psychological brakes of 100 operators.

On Krit Island, Greece, the robbers crashed with their bulldozer into the bank and took away a 500 kilograms lock box filled with 200,000 Euros.

Their Malaysian "colleagues" were definitely less lucky: they failed two attempts of stealing the ATM, including the use of heavy machinery. For almost one hour the two tried to pull out two ATMs from the bank in Kuala-Terengganu using a stolen excavator. In the end they were caught with empty hands because the scoop of the excavator got stuck inside the ceiling.

A woman from Israel was saved by her silicon breast implants when the country was attacked. Her breast stopped the bullet from reaching her heart.

A soldier, having hallucinations, shot 13 times into the plane of Madagascar's presidents Marc Ravalomanana, thus making him to go to the summit that took place in Cuba on an ordinary liner. The soldier thought he saw someone at "board No. 1" and fired at him.

Another interesting story concerns a prisoner from Sydney who has grown 14 kilograms thinner so to be able to fit the hole that he dug in a brick wall. He managed to escape but very soon was caught and brought back.
